3rd Place for Cahul Students at VibeHack Hackathon!

Students from the Faculty of Economics, Engineering, and Applied Sciences showcased their creativity, digital skills, and innovative spirit at VibeHack Hackathon, organized by the Inotek Foundation.
From March 20 to 22, 2026, a team of students majoring in Machinery Building Engineering and Management participated in this innovation competition, securing 3rd PLACE with their project, SchoolOS!
SchoolOS – An Innovative Digital Solution for Education!
The student team developed a prototype for an innovative educational platform tailored to the modern needs of the education system.
The SchoolOS project highlights the potential of digital technologies to modernize education and deliver user-centric solutions.
The Hackathon – A Space for Innovation, Creativity, and Collaboration!
Participating in VibeHack provided students with the opportunity to refine and apply their skills by:
Identifying real-world problems and formulating digital solutions;
Developing and pitching a functional conceptual prototype;
Applying technological knowledge in practical settings;
Cultivating critical thinking and creative problem-solving;
Collaborating within a team and leveraging complementary strengths;
Practicing communication and pitching skills for innovative ideas.
Student Innovation & AI-InnoSCenCE Goals
The students' participation in VibeHack reflects the ongoing skill development and ecosystem collaboration under European Project No. 24159 – AI-InnoSCenCE ("AI-Empowered Innovation in Natural Science and Engineering for the Circular Economy"), funded under the EIT Higher Education Initiative within the Horizon Europe program.
The event strengthened collaboration between "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" State University of Cahul and the Inotek Foundation, a partner in the AI-InnoSCenCE consortium.
Building digital, entrepreneurial, and innovation competencies is a core focus of the project, preparing future specialists for technological transformation and sustainable development.
