Organized on the same day as the university's Open Doors Day, the event provided participants with the chance to discover real career pathways in IT and gain a deeper understanding of professional development opportunities in the tech sector.
From Education to an IT Career!
Through interactive workshops at IT Career Expo Cahul, participants explored career perspectives in an ever-evolving field. The event highlighted the importance of:
Developing digital and technological skills;
Career guidance and identifying IT job opportunities;
Connecting academic training with current labor market demands;
Adapting professional skill sets to emerging technologies;
Continuous learning and fostering innovation capacity.
Collaboration Between Academia and the Tech Sector – An Investment in the Future!
Such initiatives bring education closer to professional realities and help build a regional ecosystem where young people can discover new paths for training, specialization, and innovative projects.
IT Career Expo and AI-InnoSCenCE Goals
Promoting digital skills and fostering collaboration between the university and the tech ecosystem align directly with European Project No. 24159 – AI-InnoSCenCE ("AI-Empowered Innovation in Natural Science and Engineering for the Circular Economy"), funded under the EIT Higher Education Initiative within the Horizon Europe program.
The project advances the integration of artificial intelligence into education, research, and innovation, alongside building the competencies required to leverage emerging technologies for circular economy solutions.
In this framework, career orientation and professional development events like IT Career Expo Cahul strengthen the ties between education, technology, and the business environment.
We extend our gratitude to the organizers and everyone involved for promoting career opportunities and digital skills in Southern Moldova!
Your professional future starts with education, curiosity, and the courage to explore new technologies!
