Launch of the Course "Technological Entrepreneurship (Start-up)" – From Idea to Business!

In September 2025, at the Faculty of Economics, Engineering, and Applied Sciences, the course "Technological Entrepreneurship (Start-up)" was launched, developed under the framework of the European project AI-InnoSCenCE.
The course develops students' entrepreneurial and innovative skills, encouraging the transformation of technological ideas into viable business models, with a strong focus on the circular economy, sustainability, and emerging technologies.
From Idea to Startup!
Through theoretical and practical activities, students learn to identify entrepreneurial opportunities, generate and evaluate ideas using artificial intelligence tools, analyze markets and competition, and design business models. Furthermore, they develop products, services, and prototypes, apply circular economy principles, and hone their creativity, communication, and teamwork abilities.
The course integrates economic, engineering, and IT knowledge, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative thinking.

The launch contributes to the objectives of European Project No. 24159 – AI-InnoSCenCE ("AI-Empowered Innovation in Natural Science and Engineering for the Circular Economy"), supported by the EIT Higher Education Initiative under the Horizon Europe program.
Through this initiative, the university modernizes its educational offer and strengthens the bridge between education, research, innovation, and the business environment.
