This was the central topic of discussion on May 12, 2026, during the strategic workshop "Validation of the Innovation and Circular Economy Ecosystem through Artificial Intelligence in the Southern Region." The event was organized by the Faculty of Economics, Engineering, and Applied Sciences as part of the European project AI-InnoSCenCE, under the auspices of the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology), and hosted at the Inotek Innovation Center in Cahul.
Organized under the framework of the AI-InnoSCenCE project, the event brought together representatives from academia, local businesses, and public institutions for an active dialogue focused on:
Opportunities provided by AI for regional development;
Collaboration between universities, industry, and public authorities;
Sustainable solutions for the circular economy;
Priorities for the upcoming regional Innovation Roadmap.
Participants reviewed preliminary findings generated by AI tools regarding regional stakeholders and their interconnections.
During the interactive World Café sessions, key collaboration opportunities, challenges, and strategic directions were identified to advance the circular economy in southern Republic of Moldova. These discussions directly contributed to shaping the priorities for the future regional "Innovation Roadmap."
Together, we build connections, generate ideas, and foster partnerships capable of transforming the region into a hub of innovation and sustainability.
