From Idea to Startup: 5 Innovative Student Projects from Cahul!

"Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" State University of Cahul

Students from the Faculty of Economics, Engineering, and Applied Sciences presented the startup projects developed during the "Technological Entrepreneurship (Start-up)" course, launched within the framework of the European project AI-InnoSCenCE.

Five Teams – Five Business Ideas!

1. EcoWeb – Digital valorization of reusable resources and promotion of the circular economy.

   • Team: Alexandru Zamfirov and Sergiu Ababii.

2. FoodFlow – "Save, economize, enjoy!" An app connecting merchants and buyers to reduce food waste.

   • Team: Denise Kercii, Ana Maria Unciuc, Ion Gurduza, and Olesea Dobrovenco.

3. ReUse – A platform connecting individuals offering items with those who need them, encouraging reuse and waste reduction.

4. ReWash – A digitalized and automated laundry concept focusing on efficient water and energy consumption.

   • Team (ReUse & ReWash): Iulia Corolenco, Veaceslav Barnaciuk, Dan Moraru, Arina Chirciu, and Viorel Viciu.

5. "Transforming Waste into Value" – A B2B platform connecting wineries with processors to commercialize wine industry by-products.

   • Team: Daria Stepanova, Adrian Arnăutu, and Cosmin Pădure.

Developing and presenting these projects offered students the opportunity to identify market opportunities, analyze customer needs, build business models, and apply circular economy principles.
