November 28, 2025
"Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" State University of Cahul, as the main organizer, successfully brought together experts, faculty members, students, and IT industry representatives for an immersive workshop dedicated to innovation through design thinking.
The university plays a essential role in this process: through its initiatives, it remains a driver of regional development, professional training, and the bridge between academia and emerging industries.
The event took place under the framework of the project AI-InnoSCenCE (AI-Empowered Innovation in Natural Science and Engineering for the Circular Economy – project no. 24159), supported by the EIT Higher Education Initiative (European Institute of Innovation and Technology) under HORIZON EUROPE (Pillar 3: Innovative Europe), creating an excellent platform for:
Identifying key challenges in the circular economy;
Generating and modeling AI-based ideas;
Developing innovative workflows;
Fostering collaboration between local and international stakeholders;
Drafting viable action-oriented solution plans.
Participants engaged in interactive sessions—ranging from guided interviews and pain point mapping to ideation, prototyping, and feedback rounds—turning concepts into actionable strategies.
The event was organized with the support of our partners:
